2025 AGM

The Association 2025 AGM and inter-district 8-bell striking competition will be on Saturday 17 May in the Huntingdon District. Further information about the meeting and the striking competition will appear here in due course.

The Association General Committee will be proposing some changes to the Association Rules at that meeting. See 2025 proposed rule changes for details.

Items for discussion at the AGM under "Any Other Business” must be notified to the General Secretary by midday on Friday 11 April to give the General Committee an opportunity to discuss them at their meeting on 12 April.

The AGM elects the Association’s officers. The technical officers (Treasurer, Bell Advisor, Webmaster and Safeguarding Officer) are ratified at the meeting based on recommendations from the General Committee. All the existing technical officers are willing to stand. Other nominations for any of these posts must be notified to the General Secretary (secretary_at_elyda.org.uk) by midday on Friday 11 April.

Our current Ringing Master, Recruitment & Training Officer, and Quarter Peal Secretary have all reached the end of their terms of office and we need to identify volunteers to take on these important posts for the coming years. Other representative officers are willing to stand again. 

Information on what all roles involve can be found in the Association Regulations, and the existing post holders would be happy to discuss the opportunities and work involved.

Nominations for representative officers should be notified to the General Secretary as soon as possible and in any case before the start of the AGM.
