Association Rules

The Association rules provide the formal definition of the Association and how it operates. Changes to the rules have to be approved by a vote at a General Meeting of the Association.

Association Regulations

The association Regulations, which supplement the rules, detail administrative and management processes of the Association which define the structure of committees and roles of the Association Officers. The Regulations can be reviewed and amended by the General Committee without reference to members of the Association.

Rules and Procedures of the Bell Restoration Fund of the Ely DA

The rules of the Bell Restoration Fund of the Ely Diocesan Association of Church Bell Ringers were adopted at the Annual General Meeting of the Association on Saturday 18th May 2019 at St Ives.

The policies and procedures of the Bell Restoration Fund of the Ely Diocesan Association of Church Bell Ringers, which supplement the rules, were adopted at the Annual General Meeting of the Association on Saturday 18th May 2019 at St Ives. They were subsequently amended by the General Committee in August 2023 to increase the value of small grants that the Trustees may make to £2,000.

Association Inter-District Eight Bell Striking Competition Rules

The Cambridge, Ely and Wisbech districts have their own striking competitions, generally for regular bands at towers within their districts. Please see the individual district websites for details.
