Join Us

Ringers resident within the Diocese of Ely, or who regularly ring at a tower in the Diocese are welcome and encouraged to join the Association. See the Membership page for some of the reasons you might want to join us. Members pay an annual subscription. New members have to be proposed (and eventually seconded) by existing members and elected at a meeting of the members of the District containing their home tower. 

The Association uses membermojo.co.uk for online membership management. To join the Association yourself please complete our on-line application form. Any payments can be made on-line by card, or by cash or cheque.  

Applications can be submitted by existing members on behalf of others who are unable to apply themselves (parent for child, wife/husband for husband/wife, etc.). The person submitting the application will then manage  the new member's entire membership, be responsible for paying their subscriptions, receive their emails, etc.

Children (anyone under 18) are welcome to join the association, with their parent's or guardian's permission. A parent or guardian will need to accept the Association's Terms and Conditions on behalf of anyone under 18 and will be asked to record their name as part of the application.

Children of existing members should be handled as new managed members under one of their parent's accounts - see Managing Other Members for more information on this.

For children whose parents are not members, a parent should apply on behalf of the first child using the normal application form but enter the parent's email address. This way all communications will come to the parent and they will be able to sign-in to the child's account to manage it. Subsequent children should be added a new managed members under the first child's account.

Once you have submitted the form, the Membership Secretary for the District containing your home tower will arrange for you to be elected at a district meeting and we will let you know when this has happened. It may be a while until the next appropriate meeting so there maybe a delay before you hear from us again but we will be in touch if anything further needs clarifying. There is nothing further you need to do.

Meanwhile, even prior to your election, you will be very welcome at any District or Association events - details on the Association home page and linked District sites. You can review and update the information you have supplied from the Your Membership page.
