Handbell Day 2019

Ely DA Handbell Day, 14th December 2019

Forty members took part from 14 self-declared beginners getting accustomed to the handstroke gap and to resting your wrists on your thighs after the backstroke right through to a determined assault on Bristol Maximus yielding several respectable half courses. Thanks to Janet and Graham John for helping us along, to Adrial for doing all of the catering, and to Christ’s College for use of their space. During the sessions we rang quarters of Stedman Triples and Caters, and in the fringe a quarter of Yorkshire Major and a peal of Cambridge Royal.
